STEM Raters for GenAI Data Job DescriptionRole Overview
As a STEM Rater for [Maths/Physics/Chemistry/Biology/Coding/Finance], you will be a crucial contributor to shaping the "brain" of our AI. Working closely with the STEM Lead and your team, your primary responsibility will be to meticulously create, review, and refine high-quality data. This involves evaluating AI responses for accuracy, clarity, and pedagogical effectiveness, ensuring they are insightful, well-structured, and tailored to the learner's level.Core Responsibilities
- High-Quality Data Creation & Curation: Create and refine solutions, explanations, and derivations for STEM problems. Ensure accuracy, clarity, and pedagogical effectiveness.
- AI Response Evaluation & Feedback: Evaluate AI-generated responses for correctness, coherence, and pedagogy. Provide clear, constructive feedback.
- Subject Matter Expertise Application: Apply deep knowledge in your field to verify solutions and create alternative approaches.
- Collaboration & Workflow Adherence: Work closely with the STEM Lead and adhere to deadlines, workflows, and quality standards.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Masters degree (M.Sc./M.Tech) in [Maths/Physics/Chemistry/Biology/Coding/Finance] from a premier Tier-1 institution (IIT, BITS, NIT, IISER, IISc, TIFR, CMI, etc.). Ph.D. is a plus.
- Strong subject expertise across curricula, including JEE/NEET/GATE and undergraduate-level topics.
- Proven teaching/content writing/research experience (7+ years preferred).
- Excellent written communication and ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
Preferred Qualifications
- Track record of producing top rankers in JEE/NEET/GATE.
- Experience developing original high-quality problems (Olympiad/JEE Advanced/GATE level).
- Familiarity with providing structured feedback for AI/ML models.
