Job Description
Zycus is hiring a Desktop Support Engineer for its internal IT team. Candidates should have good knowledge of Network and IT infrastructure and good communication skills.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Installation, configuration, diagnosis and resolution of technical issues related to Microsoft products viz. Microsoft client operating systems (Windows7/ Windows8, Windows10), Email (Outlook), File & Print service, MS office, and various business applications etc.
- Installation, configuration, diagnosis and resolution of technical issues related to all technology peripherals viz. desktops, thin clients, laptop, printers and scanners etc.
- Migration and Deployment of Desktops and laptops build as per company standards.
- Communicating with overseas customers and solving their desktop related problems by using remote tools like Skype for Business, Web Ex etc.
- Supporting desktop maintenance, security maintenance, including virus updates and patch management
- Interacting technical people at a variety of levels as well as ability to address technical issues with non-technical associates.
Ideal candidate would have:
- Bachelors degree in engineering, Computer Science, MCA/BCA, Msc-IT
- Nice to have 2-5 of Experience in troubleshooting operating systems, hardware & software
- Good communication skills
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts
- Experience in Office 365
- Good logical ability & time management skills
- Smart approach towards incident management
- The ability to communicate with overseas customers and problem-solving ability by using remote tools like Microsoft Teams, Web Ex etc
