Role & responsibilities
Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing innovative marketing automation solutions within the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform. You will play a crucial role in enhancing customer engagement and driving business growth by leveraging your technical expertise to create personalized and impactful marketing experiences. --- Candidate Must-Have Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of hands-on experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud development and implementation. Platform Proficiency: Proven expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud modules such as Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Mobile Studio, and Data Extensions. Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in: AMPscript: For dynamic content and personalization. SQL: For data extraction, segmentation, and manipulation. HTML/CSS: For building and refining content blocks, email templates, and landing pages. JavaScript (including SSJS): For advanced scripting and interactive elements. Integration Experience: Solid experience with API integrations (REST, SOAP) to connect Marketing Cloud with external platforms and CRM systems. Data Management: Strong understanding of data modeling, data configuration, manipulation, advanced segmentation, and audience management within Marketing Cloud. Marketing Best Practices: Deep understanding of marketing automation principles and email marketing best practices. Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills. Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.

Experience Required:Engineer 3 Exp: Prac. In 2 coding lang. or adv. Prac. in 1 lang. 7+ years in IT; 5+ years in developmentExperience Preferred:Good to Have Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Marketing, or a related field. Salesforce Ecosystem Knowledge: Familiarity with other Salesforce Clouds (e.g., Sales Cloud, Service Cloud) and how they integrate with Marketing Cloud. Additional Scripting/Programming: Experience with other programming languages like Python or Apex. Analytics Tools: Experience with data analysis and reporting tools beyond Marketing Cloud's native capabilities. Database Knowledge: Knowledge of database management concepts. Strategic Thinking: A background in strategically planning and executing marketing journeys and understanding business processes. Communication & Project Management: Strong communication and project management skills to liaise with various stakeholders and manage project timelines. 4) Certification Details Candidates are encouraged to hold or pursue the following Salesforce Marketing Cloud certifications, as they demonstrate validated expertise: Salesforce Certified Marketing Cloud Developer: This certification validates a developer's ability to build personalized, dynamic messages and landing pages, and to implement Marketing Cloud's scripting languages, APIs, and automation tools. Salesforce Certified Marketing Cloud Email Specialist: Often a recommended prerequisite or foundational certification, it emphasizes email marketing best practices and the application of these techniques in Email Studio. Salesforce Certified Marketing Cloud Administrator: This certification is geared towards administrators capable of configuring Marketing Cloud products and maintaining solutions. Salesforce Certified Marketing Cloud Consultant: This certification is for those who can set up and execute Marketing Cloud solutions that meet business requirements and drive customer success.
