Qualifications
Primary Skills Required Responsibilities:
Architect/design and support the installation, and administration of virtualization VMware & Red Hat OSV suite of products.
Responsible for the entire lifecycle of the technologies globally including infrastructure security vulnerability patching, planning, designing, implementation, maintenance, upgrades and decommissioning of hardware and software.
Engineer, test and document procedures, monitoring, logging, disaster recovery process and security policies and guidelines
Demonstrates knowledge of a broad range of hardware and software products.
Research industry best practices and trends. Provide operational support of all global infrastructure hosting solution on VMware & Red Hat OSV server platforms.
Provide consulting services to OS support teams and application teams as required for performance review and production outage root cause analysis.
Global deployment of VMware & Red Hat infrastructure platform server components - ESXi, vCenter, vRops, Red Hat OSV, Red Hat migrations, Red Hat Operators
Global deployment of security vulnerability patches on VMware infrastructure platform server components (ESXi, vCenter, vRops)
Lead or participate in server engineering projects (e.g. automation, shared virtualization farms, capacity on demand, technology refresh, etc.)
Lead or participate in server operations projects (e.g. ESX host upgrades, vCenter upgrades, affinity rule rollout, VM resource adds, VM restores, etc.)
Responsibilities
Experience Required: Technical Qualifications:
Overall 10+ years in IT development / operations / support / migrations
5+ years of experience with OpenShift Virtualization/automation - Knowledge about containers/pods - Deep insight about K8s - Virtual Machine management - Knowledge about PVCs and Operators
3+ Years of experience with Tekton Pipelines for Automation
5+ years of experience with Git repo mgmt. and usage.
3+ years of experience with Argo CD knowledge
3+ years of creating/managing Ansible playbooks
3+ years of PowerShell, Ansible & Yaml scripting
3+ years of managing Dockers
3+ Years of experience with VMWare vSphere ESXi, vCenter, vROPS
3+Years of experience working with VMware & Red Hat Server Infrastructure server hardware and related network components.
3+ Years of experience working in a Global/Large VMware environment.
Infrastructure Experience with servers, network, storage, database, and backups.
Experience in SQL Server, WebSphere, Windows OS, Linux OS.
Familiar with PowerCLI and API calls via code.

- Basic Qualifications:
Virtual server computing infrastructure knowledge.
Scripting experience with PowerShell, Ansible & Yaml
Enterprise Datacenter server hosting server experience or Hosting Infrastructure.
Windows server or Linux operating system.
Ability to work with a variety of cross functional teams to support deployment to remote locations.
Proven track record of organizing and leading projects involving VMware/Red Hat or related infrastructure technologies for a large enterprise.
Exceptional technical writing skills (run books, DR plans, platform architecture, etc.)
Familiar with Ford Agile delivery concepts.
Strong communication skills.
Willingness to learn new technologies
Good team player working with Global team
