Cloud Engineer @ NOVAC

Job Description

Role & responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud infrastructure on Azure and GCP.
• Work with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, etc.
• Set up and manage services like VMs, Kubernetes (AKS/GKE), App Services, Cloud Functions, Storage, Networking, etc.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using tools like Azure Monitor, GCP Operations Suite, Grafana, Prometheus, etc.
• Optimize cloud spend and ensure compliance with security policies and best practices.
• Assist in cloud migration projects from on-prem to Azure/GCP.
• Document infrastructure, architecture, and processes.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (IaaS, PaaS, Networking, Security).
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform services.
• Strong experience with Terraform, ARM templates, or Deployment Manager for infrastructure as code.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration.
• Experience with Linux/Windows server administration.
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Strong understanding of IAM,VPC, Firewalls, Load Balancers, and other cloud networking concepts.
