We are seeking a skilled and versatile Backend Software Engineer with strong expertise in backend development and DevOps practices, particularly with Azure DevOps. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Python (with FastAPI, Pandas, and Kedro), and Node.js, and have hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, and infrastructure automation. This role involves building scalable backend services, optimizing deployment workflows, and ensuring robust infrastructure management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain backend services using Python (FastAPI, Pandas, Kedro) and Node.js.Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps to streamline build, test, and deployment processes.
- Manage containerized applications using Kubernetes and Docker.
- Create and maintain Python scripts for automation, data processing, and backend utilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure reliability and scalability.
- Maintain clean, well-documented, and efficient codebases.
- Develop and manage RESTful APIs for seamless integration between systems.
- Participate in code reviews, mentoring, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and DevOps trends.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in Python (FastAPI, Pandas, Kedro) and Node.js for backend development.
- Deep understanding of Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipeline design and management.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, Git, and SQL/NoSQL databases.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Experience with DevOps methodologies and infrastructure as code.
Optional Qualifications:
- Experience working in financial services or supply chain environments.
- Familiarity with SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) methodologies and practices.
