Job Title - Site E&I Engineer
Location - PAN India Site Loc
Department - Construction
Qualification - BE/B Tech OR Diploma Instrumentation
Experience - 5 to 7 years
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Ensure all safety precautions, norms and compliances are followed during the entire duration of construction.
- Material checking, preparation of IMIR documents, highlights the deviation with respect to drawings through SAR, inspection, execution of cable tray activity, field instrument installation, air / impulse pipe / tube work, earthing work, local JB / Panels etc.
- Attend meeting with customer, consultant, co-ordination with HO & contractor.
- Ensure site establishment requirements, check & verify skill labours engagement by construction vendor, resources, projects material availability for site execution, maintain planned schedule.
- Supervision, Execution of Field Instrument Calibration, testing, Installation, pre-commissioning, quality checks of E&I work at sites.
- Expediate work progress, ensure timely delivery as per Projects schedule.
- Preparation of QAP / ITP / Erection Work Procedures / Calibration Procedures / Electrical Equipment testing procedure / Activity schedule / Protocols etc. for E&I jobs.
- Preparation of Job Safety Analysis for critical Jobs., Safe lifting process etc. co-ordination with team members.
- Ensure all Safety procedures, compliances followed strictly at site.
Critical Competencies:
- Experience in construction sites, Understanding of P&ID, Cable tray routing, Cable schedule/JB/ Panel location drawings, Hook-up drawing etc.
- Knowledge of Instrumentation & Electrical items and work activity.
- Erection experience with consultants / customer in steel / cement / power and PSU industries. Knowledge of Safe working practices in construction sites.
- Contractor handling capabilities.
- Communication & presentation skills, computer literacy, Cross-functional collaboration skills
- Candidate should be ready to travel for site deputation.
