Required Skills and Experience:
- 5+ years of IT experience with 3 years of ETL test experience
- Strong testing background (leading, planning & execution of testing activities)
- Design, develop, maintain, execute and review manual and automated test scripts to ensure the delivery of quality software applications and other IT services using formal testing techniques
- Test exposure on Big Data technologies / Data warehouse platforms on cloud
- Proficient in the use of tools like JIRA, Confluence etc
- . Handson with Selenium and Java
- Experienced with ETL testing tools and Test management tools
- Experienced with scripting languages Shell, Python etc
- Monitor and report test metrics and the status of testing progress
- Analyse, review and evaluate requirements, working with the business to understand system requirements
- Estimate testing requirements to determine scope of development/project cycles
- Build and support Test Automation Framework
- Conduct automated and manual testing on mobile devices and OS updates
- ISTQB Advanced Level Test Analyst/Technical Test Analyst (Preferred)
- Experience with BI platforms ,Experience with Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Basic Big Data environments understanding
- Previously worked with Databases, and objects (tables, views) within databases;
- Exposure to big data technologies (Hadoop);
- Generally speaking someone who has a pragmatic & adaptable nature; and flexible with ability to cope up with changes in priorities, ambiguity
- As nice to have, would be if they had any previous experience in Financial services or remediation related work.
