Senior Software Engineer-UI who should have a strong background in modern front-end technologies and a passion for building user-centric applications.
Responsibilities:
- Architect, design, and implement responsive, scalable, and maintainable user interfaces using modern front-end technologies such as React and Next.js.
- Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, and backend engineers to transform requirements into user-friendly applications.
- Set technical direction and oversee the development process, ensuring adherence to best practices in coding, testing, and performance optimization.
- Integrate and utilize GraphQL to enhance data fetching strategies and improve the performance and flexibility of web applications.
- Stay current with modern technologies, including TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, and other CSS frameworks, to enhance development efficiency.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Conduct code reviews, implement performance improvements, and ensure application security standards are met.
- Drive the adoption of advanced tools and methodologies, such as server-side rendering (SSR) with Next.js and static site generation (SSG), to optimize the user experience.
- Manage and prioritize team tasks, allocate resources effectively, and resolve project issues as they arise.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 4+ years of professional experience in front-end development.
- Strong expertise in JavaScript and modern frameworks such as React and Next.js.
- Proficiency in TypeScript for building scalable and maintainable codebases.
- Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, React Context API) and component-based architecture.
- Solid understanding and implementation of GraphQL for efficient and flexible data handling.
- Familiarity with UI/UX design principles and the ability to collaborate closely with design teams.
- Experience with modern CSS frameworks (e.g., Tailwind CSS, Styled Components) and pre-processing tools (e.g., SASS, LESS).
- Knowledge of performance optimization techniques for web and mobile applications, including lazy loading, code splitting, and progressive web app (PWA) development.
- Experience with front-end build tools and CI/CD practices (e.g., Webpack, Babel, Git, Jenkins).
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and guide the team toward successful project completions.
