Job Description
Overview
The GSOC Specialist is a critical role in the Global Security Operations Center (GSOC), focused on monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security incidents to protect personnel and assets. Reporting to the GSOC Assistant Manager, this position harnesses advanced security technologies to uphold rigorous operational standards in a 24/7 environment. We are seeking a detail-oriented, tech-proficient candidate with excellent communication skills who excels in fast-paced, high-pressure scenarios and demonstrates adaptability to rotational shifts.
Key Responsibilities & KPIs
Incident Monitoring & Response
- Monitor and analyze security systems, including CCTV real-time feeds, access control mechanisms, alarms, and incident management platforms, to proactively detect and evaluate potential threats.
- Respond effectively to security incidents, adhering to escalation protocols for seamless coordination and resolution, targeting 100% compliance with response procedures.
Security Operations & Compliance
- Conduct routine checks on security systems and equipment, escalating issues promptly to maintain 100% functionality of GSOC technologies.
- Assist in compliance audits and support local and global security initiatives by delivering actionable intelligence and real-time situational awareness.
Training & Process Improvement
- Participate in monthly security training sessions, achieving 90%+ completion rates to remain aligned with industry best practices and evolving threats.
- Identify workflow improvement opportunities and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement enhancements that drive operational efficiency.
Qualifications & Skills
Required
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Mandatory: 2.5+ years of hands-on experience in a GSOC or similar security operations role.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for clear reporting, stakeholder coordination, and crisis communication.
- Strong proficiency in CCTV real-time monitoring, access control systems, and alarm monitoring/acknowledgment tools.
Preferred
- Bachelor's Degree in Security Management, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Familiarity with OSINT techniques, geopolitical intelligence analysis, security advisory protocols, incident reporting standards, and travel tracking solutions.
Additional Notes
