Job Description
SAP Fico Consultant :
We are seeking a highly experienced SAP FICO Consultant to lead financial transformation initiatives leveraging SAP solutions. This role requires deep expertise in Finance and Controlling modules, strong consulting skills, and the ability to engage with CFO-level stakeholders. The ideal candidate will thrive in globally distributed teams and collaborate across multiple time zones and diverse business cultures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, configure, and deploy SAP FICO solutions across multiple geographies.
- Ensure seamless integration with other SAP modules (MM, SD, PS).
- Act as a finance process consultant with expertise in:
- General Ledger (GL)
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Asset Accounting (AA)
- Controlling (CO, PCA, CCA)
- Conduct discovery sessions with finance stakeholders to map requirements into SAP solutions.
- Provide guidance on accounting standards and tax requirements across geographies.
- Understand country-specific tax, legal, and compliance procedures.
- Manage financial close activities and performance reporting.
- Deliver end-user training, create functional documentation, and support audit and compliance teams.
- Experience with at least 3 end-to-end SAP implementations.
Preferred Certifications:
- SAP Certified Application Associate SAP S/4HANA for Financial Accounting
- SAP Certified Application Associate Management Accounting (CO) (preferred for full FICO stack)
Educational Qualification:
- Masters in Finance or Masters in Accounting preferred.
Preferred Candidate Profile:
- 10+ years of SAP FICO experience with strong functional expertise in GL, AP, AR, AA, CO.
- Proven track record in financial transformation projects and global implementations.
- Strong understanding of R2R processes and integration with other SAP modules.
- Ability to engage with senior finance leadership and translate business requirements into SAP solutions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-cultural and multi-time-zone environments.
- Knowledge of tax compliance and statutory reporting across multiple countries.
