Job Description
Job Summary: The Site Engineer will be the technical lead on the ground for the RDSS project. They will be responsible for the technical, organizational, and supervisory aspects of electrical distribution network projects,including the installation of Electrical Infrastructure.This role requires expertise in electrical works, team coordination, and adherence to all project specifications, safety protocols, and timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee/manage all on-site electrical construction activities as per approved designs and quality standards.
2. Supervise installation of HT/LT lines as per RDSS guidelines.
3. Ensure compliance with REC guidelines and Uttarakhand Power Corporation Limited (UPCL) standards.
4. Conduct regular inspections and quality checks on materials/workmanship.
5. Manage on-site resources (labor, equipment, materials) to optimize efficiency and prevent delays.
6. Serve as primary technical contact on-site and liaise with subcontractors, technicians, and project management.
7. Enforce site safety protocols; ensure use of PPE.
8. Maintain accurate project documentation and report progress and risks to Project Manager.
9. Identify and resolve technical issues, including discrepancies in designs or unexpected site conditions.
