Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Clinical Duties

• Provide immediate assessment, resuscitation, and management of critically ill and injured paediatric patients.
  
• Diagnose and treat acute medical, surgical, and trauma emergencies in children.
  
• Perform necessary procedures (e.g., IV/IO access, intubation, LP, fracture stabilization, etc.).
  
• Coordinate patient transfer and admission to appropriate inpatient units when required.
  
• Liaise with consultants and multidisciplinary teams for advanced management and follow-up care.
  
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all clinical encounters.

• Expertise in paediatric resuscitation and emergency procedures.
  
• Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills.
  
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  
• Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced emergency setting.
