What youll build
You ll be part of the ECS Data Quality Management (DQM) team which is responsible to keep the meta data of all ECS related Configuration Items (systems, servers, customer numbers) in various internal tool systems clean and to take care that the synchronization between those tool systems works smooth. The meta data is then used e.g. by automated procedures or reporting and is key for a scalable and smoothly running Operations.
In your role as a Senior Data Quality Consultant, you will have touchpoints with several technical aspects of Data Quality.

The role includes the following:
- Various activities & projects in regards to data quality (RCA, Fix the Future, Fix the Past, Monitor the Fix)
- Feature requests and bug reporting to the development teams
- Master Data standards definition and design in our internal tools (SPC, Plato, CCIR, DED, Atlas)
- The definition of KPIs and Reporting
- DQM Continuous Improvement
In your day-to-day you will:
- Drive necessary process adjustments in case of data quality issues
- Drive various data quality projects
- Pattern analysis of data issues (errors, missing data)
- 3rd Level Support for DQM issues
- Interaction with various development teams & Process/Procedure Owners
- The creation and tracking of development requirements until final implementation
- The creation of development bug reports
- The harmonization of KPIs along the Data Quality Management process

- Are you pro-active
- You have the ability to inspire others and convince them to see opportunities instead of problems
- You have strong problem analysis and resolution skills
- And your English is excellent
If this sounds like you, do you also bring:
- Knowledge of SAP basis technologies, Network/Web technologies, LINUX based infrastructures, High Availability and Disaster Recovery
- Background in Data Quality Management is a plus
- Knowledge in ITIL and Project Management methodology is a plus
- ABAP Development skills are a plus
