Java AWS Developer @ Capgemini

Job Description

Your RoleWe're hiring for skilled and motivated Java AWS Developer for Bangalore to join our Information Technology team. This role is critical to ensuring experience working with microservices architectures . The ideal candidate will have 6 to 12 years hands-on experience with Java 8+, Spring Boot, Microservice & loud and containerized platforms (preferably Kubernetes/OpenShift and AWS) . The resource is expected to work in Australian Shift i.e 7AM-4PM IST

Work experience with spring security.

Should have experience working with microservices architectures.

Working experience with cloud and containerized platforms (preferably Kubernetes/OpenShift and AWS)

Should have experience with CI/CD pipelines.

Works in the area of Software Engineering, which encompasses the development, maintenance and optimization of software solutions/applications.1. Applies scientific methods to analyse and solve software engineering problems.2. He/she is responsible for the development and application of software engineering practice and knowledge, in research, design, development and maintenance.3. His/her work requires the exercise of original thought and judgement and the ability to supervise the technical and administrative work of other software engineers.4. The software engineer builds skills and expertise of his/her software engineering discipline to reach standard software engineer skills expectations for the applicable role, as defined in Professional Communities.5. The software engineer collaborates and acts as team player with other software engineers and stakeholders.Your profile

Strong in Core Java

Good understanding and practical experience with Java 8+, Spring Boot, and Microservices

Work experience in the cloud and containerized platforms (preferably Kubernetes/OpenShift and AWS)

Theoretical knowledge alone will not be sufficient. ExampleIf the candidate has knowledge in EC2(AWS), the candidate should know to how to create a

EC2 instance and should know where to check the logs, how to debug in case of issues.

Must have experience with CI/CD pipelines.

Should know how to debug in case of issues, check logs and solve the issues.

We are not expecting a candidate should know to create a pipeline (if the candidate knows, that is well and good) but the candidate should be able to make changes to the existing pipeline and should understand what is written.

Should have experience with the API gateway (good to have).

candidate should know, how to publish the APIs

should know how the security works with the gateway

Ability to explain concepts using real-world examples or with past work experience.
