Job Description
Role & responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Build and maintain microservices and RESTful APIs for large-scale enterprise systems.
- Implement and manage data persistence using JPA/Hibernate with relational databases like MySQL / Oracle / PostgreSQL.
- Ensure code quality by writing unit and integration tests using JUnit / Mockito.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and optimize application performance.
- Work on CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitLab, and manage source control with Git.
- (Optional Plus) Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Preferred candidate profile
- Experience: 6-9 years of strong experience in Java and Spring Boot development.
- Deep understanding of Spring framework modules Spring MVC, Spring Data, Spring Security.
- Hands-on experience with microservices architecture and RESTful API design.
- Proficient in SQL and ORM tools (JPA/Hibernate).
- Strong analytical, debugging, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in Agile / Scrum environments.
- Self-motivated and a good team player with a problem-solving attitude.
