Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Project Delivery Manager to lead and ensure the successful delivery of projects across Industrial Automation (IA) and IT domains. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing complex projects, a deep understanding of both industrial automation technologies and IT systems, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams to achieve project goals on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Qualifications & Skills
Education: Bachelors degree in Engineering (e.g., Electrical, Mechanical, Automation), Computer Science, IT, or a related field. Masters degree is a plus.
Experience: 7+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on delivering industrial automation and IT projects.
Technical Knowledge:
Strong understanding of industrial automation technologies (e.g., PLCs, SCADA, robotics, IoT).
Proficiency in IT systems and solutions (e.g., software development, cloud computing, cybersecurity).
Project Management: Proven experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid). PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
Tools: Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Trello) and MS Office Suite.
Soft Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Domain Knowledge: Experience in manufacturing, process control, and IT infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership
Lead end-to-end project delivery for both industrial automation and IT projects, from initiation to closure.
Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with clients and internal stakeholders.
Planning & Execution
Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budgets.
Coordinate with engineering, IT, procurement, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution.
Oversee system design, development, installation, testing, and commissioning of solutions.
Stakeholder Management
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their requirements are met and expectations managed.
Communicate project progress, risks, and issues to internal and external stakeholders.
Facilitate meetings, presentations, and workshops to align project goals.
Risk & Change Management
Identify and mitigate project risks through proactive planning and issue resolution.
Manage changes in project scope, schedule, and budget, ensuring minimal impact on deliverables.
Team Management
Lead and motivate cross-functional teams, including engineers, IT professionals, technicians, and external vendors.
Provide guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback to team members.
Quality & Compliance
Ensure projects adhere to industry standards (e.g., ISO, IEC, ITIL) and company quality policies.
Conduct project reviews and audits to validate deliverables and processes.
Budget & Resource Management
Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective resource utilization.
Optimize resource allocation to meet project deadlines and objectives.
Cross-Domain Integration
Ensure seamless integration between industrial automation systems and IT infrastructure (e.g., IoT, cloud, cybersecurity).
Facilitate collaboration between IA and IT teams to deliver unified solutions.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, schedules, risk registers, and progress reports.
Prepare and present project status updates, dashboards, and final handover documents.
