Software Development Test Engineer @ CareerNet

Job Description

Key Skills: Selenium, Automation, Java

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute automated test scripts using Selenium.
• Collaborate with developers and designers to understand requirements and ensure quality deliverables.
• Formulate test strategies by decomposing business and technical requirements into test case scenarios.
• Manage test case creation and define test data requirements.
• Conduct testing of micro-services hosted platforms and SaaS products.
• Utilize test cycle management tools like JIRA for tracking and reporting.
• Implement best practices in testing and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Work with various development and testing tools such as Git, Jenkins, and Bitbucket.
• Understand cloud concepts including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
• Apply knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design in testing.
• Demonstrate strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Maintain a customer-focused approach and ensure a positive user experience.

Skills Required:

• Strong hands-on experience with Selenium Automation.
• Proficiency in designing and executing automated test scripts.
• Familiarity with microservices testing and SaaS platforms.
• Experience with tools like JIRA, Git, Jenkins, and Bitbucket.
• Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and OOP concepts.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.

Education  : B.E/B.Tech in Computer Science/Information Technology or any equivalent degree.
