Job Description
Role: Senior Snowflake Administrator & Developer
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Snowflake Admin & Developer with Terraform expertise to design, implement, and manage our Snowflake Data Platform. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing our Snowflake environments, using Terraform for Infrastructure and role management in Snowflake, setting up and overseeing data replication and sharing processes, and managing Snowflake Role-Based Access Control (RBAC). This role is essential to ensuring the reliability, performance, security, and scalability of our data infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
Snowflake Administration-
Snowflake Administration
Manage and maintain Snowflake environments, including provisioning, configuration, security, and optimization.
Implement best practices for data storage, access control, and query performance.
Monitor system health and ensure high availability and disaster recovery.
Collaborate with data engineering teams to optimize data pipelines and workloads.
Snowflake Data Replication & Data Shares
Set up and manage Snowflake data replication to ensure data availability across different regions and environments.
Implement and manage Snowflake data shares to facilitate secure and efficient data sharing with internal teams and external partners.
Monitor and optimize data replication processes to minimize latency and ensure consistency.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data replication and sharing, ensuring data integrity and security.
Snowflake Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)
Design, implement, and manage Snowflake RBAC policies to ensure appropriate access control across different user roles and groups.
Configure roles, privileges, and access controls in Snowflake to align with organizational security requirements and compliance standards.
Audit and review access controls regularly to identify and address potential security risks.
Work closely with security teams to enforce data protection policies and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
Terraform Management
Develop, test, and maintain Terraform scripts for infrastructure provisioning and management.
Automate deployment processes and integrate Terraform with CI/CD pipelines.
