Minimum 2 years of experience in training, coaching, or mentoring coders.

Job Summary:

The Medical Coding Process Trainer / Coach is responsible for developing, implementing, and delivering training programs for medical coders to ensure accurate, efficient, and compliant coding practices. The trainer will coach new hires and existing team members on coding guidelines, payer policies, and documentation improvement. This role also monitors performance metrics, identifies areas for improvement, and supports ongoing professional development within the coding team.

Qualifications:

• Education:
  
• Bachelors degree in healthcare administration, life sciences, or related field (preferred).
  
• Equivalent experience may be considered.

• Certified Professional Coder (CPC), Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), or equivalent AHIMA/AAPC certification.
