Job Description
Bed Bath and Beyond is looking for an Appian Solutions Architect to augment its Digital Transformation Technology team. This high performing team serves as a bridge between all business areas and is tasked to quickly grasp business processes and rapidly deliver application solutions. The resource is expected to leverage best practices relating to code, configuration and implementing end-to-end Appian solutions that meet our operational and business needs.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide oversight on business engagements to ensure Appian best practices.
- Lead the technical planning & requirements gathering phases including estimate, develop, test, manage projects, architect and deliver.
- Serve as a technical lead and mentor. Provide technical support or leadership in the development and continual improvement of service.
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with team members.
- Evaluate user requests for business process automation to determine feasibility and technical requirements.
- Work with team members to identify, mitigate and resolve project issues and risks
- Demonstrate the ability to adapt and work with team members of various experience level.
- Assist in application deployment and roll-out to production
- Develops software policies, standards and procedures
- Serve as the day-to-day Technical POC for Appian platform
- Support data migration and loading
Technical skills
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with all aspects of the Appian technology platform.
- Good knowledge of the product including BPM Fundamentals, Architecture Components, Technical Features such as Designer Features, Configurations in Appian etc.
- Minimum Appian Designer Credential with Appian Lead Designer Credential preferred.
- Appian Platinum Certified preferred.
- Passionate coders with 5-10 years of application development experience.
- Background in user experience, UI design, or HCI.
- Skilled problem solvers with the desire and proven ability to create innovative solutions.
- Knowledge and experience in developing software using agile methodologies.
- Bachelor's Degree in MIS, Computer Science, Math, Engineering or comparable major.
