Job Description
Key Skills: DevOps, AWS
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable infrastructure automation using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Ensure infrastructure is secure, reliable, and aligned with best practices.
2. Continuous Integration & Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)
- Build and manage efficient CI/CD pipelines to streamline release cycles.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate CI/CD into the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
3. Cloud Infrastructure Management
- Architect, deploy, and optimize cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Monitor and optimize cloud usage for cost efficiency and performance.
4. Monitoring & Logging
- Implement monitoring and alerting systems using Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.
- Proactively identify and resolve system issues to ensure high availability.
5. Security & Compliance
- Apply security best practices for infrastructure management.
- Collaborate with security teams to support audits and compliance requirements.
6. Leadership & Collaboration
- Mentor junior engineers, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
- Work closely with engineering, operations, and security teams to drive DevOps initiatives.
Skills Required:
Technical Skills:
- Proven expertise in DevOps practices and cloud platforms (AWS mandatory, Azure/GCP preferred).
- Strong experience with IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
- Hands-on with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar).
- Proficiency with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Scripting proficiency in Shell, Python, or Ruby.
- Experience with monitoring/logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
- Strong understanding of security and compliance frameworks, especially in fintech.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong collaboration and stakeholder management.
- Effective communication and mentoring abilities.
- Ability to work in fast-paced and regulated environments.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
