Role & responsibilities

Roles and Responsibilities

• Monitor and record hospital-acquired infections (HAIs).
  
• Implement and update infection prevention and control policies.
  
• Conduct staff training on infection control practices.
  
• Perform regular audits on hand hygiene, waste management, and sterilization.
  
• Investigate and manage infection outbreaks.
  
• Ensure compliance with infection control standards (WHO, CDC, etc.).
  
• Collaborate with medical, nursing, and housekeeping staff to maintain a safe environment.
  
• Maintain infection control records and prepare reports for management.
