Linux Camera QA Lead @ Einfochips

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end QA strategy for Linux-based camera systems on Qualcomm platforms.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated and manual test plans for camera features, including:
• Image capture
• Video recording
• HDR
• Auto-focus
• ISP tuning
• Execute and oversee test plans, ensuring high-quality delivery of camera software and firmware.
• Collaborate with development teams to identify and troubleshoot defects.
• Utilize and enhance test automation frameworks and tools to improve QA efficiency.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong experience in embedded software QA, specifically for camera systems and multimedia validation.
• Deep understanding of Linux camera frameworks, including V4L2, media controller, and camera sensor drivers.
• Proficiency with test automation tools such as Python, Robot Framework, and Shell scripting.
• Hands-on experience with camera analysis and validation tools, including ExifTool, OpenCV, etc.
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and a passion for quality.
