Job Description

To strengthen existing IT systems for a comprehensive and integrated MES system under the NACP by providing applications and server maintenance support through helpdesk to handle the admin level functionalities, providing resolution through on-call support to the users, keep a track of the issues raised and automate the frequent occurring issues

1. To coordinate with states in order to implement and enhance the system usage, trouble shooting and bug fixing through developing any new module/ functionalities as per the NACP requirements as an enhancement to the existing system and align the database structure accordingly.

2. To provide business intelligence and data analytics support by conducting the data assessments and building algorithms.

3. The candidate has to support and provide services for strengthening and maintenance of existing systems and establish helpdesk for technical online glitches, troubleshooting, resolution of errors etc.

4. Have understanding of Agile Methodologies, it's functioning and usage agility, flexibility and adaptability for maintaining software developments when needed.

5. Has to play role in strengthening of current IT systems, application services and server maintenance support through helpdesk, capable of handling the Admin level functionalities.

6. He has to provide solutions for problems and grievances through on-call support to all the users.

7. The technical challenges observed on software will be resolved through creating a helpline to fix the trouble shoot issues and fixing bugs while accessing it and support shall provide both online and offline for optimal output.

8. Drive creation of knowledge base articles and operations checklist to ensure reliability of services.

  1. Improve operations by automating client correspondence, record tracking and data communications.
  2. Produce documents, spread sheets and presentations for internal and reporting needs
  3. Key processes that needed to be driven as incident analysis & management, problem management & closure, change control & post implementation checks.
  4. Performing analysis on customer surveys and formulating process improvements based on the same.
  5. Maintaining operational direction, ensuring quality of service delivery, and maintaining customer satisfaction
  6. Ensuring service objectives are achieved by focusing on delivery execution with best practices
  7. He has to adhere to security protocols & privacy standards and shall focus on documentation
  8. Establish efficient workflow processes, monitoring daily productivity and implementing modifications to improve overall effectiveness of process
  9. Manage inventory, production, workflow and distribution, analysing each stage of support and recommending improvements to streamline processes.
  10. To reinforce existing systems so that they can effectively support decision-making in line with Fast-Track targets, HIV cascade monitoring, patient follow-ups and, client-based surveillance
  11. Strengthening the case-based reporting system
  12. Capable of holding scheduled quarterly meetings and organised planned interaction sessions with relevant departments involved in this system (Skype and video conferencing)
  13. Planned meetings with different implementing partners to incorporate their inputs working in different verticals.

Reporting to: The officer will be reporting to the Team Leader - HIV / Aids on all issues associated with his/her work responsibilities.

Essential:

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor degree in IT or Preferably MCA candidate.
  • At least relevant IT work experience, preferably with an international development organization or donor. Experience in HIV field will be preferred. Must be conversant with data analysis software such as SPSS, EPI Info etc.
  • Experience in designing and implementing monitoring and evaluation plans for large- scale projects. Familiarity with results based management concepts and tools.
  • Excellent communication skills; ability to work effectively in a multi-cultural work setting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office, advance excel, power-point, IT etc.
  • Must be precise, and capable of working with tight deadlines.
  • Excellent knowledge of local language and English (Speaking, Reading and Writing)
