Senior Software Developer (Python & Linux) @ Siemens Gamesa

Software Development Engineering (High Tech) focus on developing multiple types/categories of software including end-user applications and operating systems/utility software, that provides a platform for running end user applications for sale to external customers. The work includes. Conducting requirements gathering and analysis to understand the domain of the software problem and/or functionality, the interfaces between hardware and software, and the overall software characteristics. Using programming, scripting, and/or database languages to write the software code. Supporting software testing, deployment, maintenance, and evolution activities by correcting programming errors, responding to scope changes, and coding software improvements. Using software development knowledge, covering coding norms, code assessments, source control handling, development workflows, testing, and operations.

• Expert in Python and C++ with basic C# knowledge.
• Should have good knowledge on Linux Operating system.
• Provide mentorship in problem solving and effective communication with customers. Responsibilities include assisting with planning, testing, configuration and carrying out installations, upgrades and migrations; and implementing security controls.
• Experience in architectural standard processes, should be able to deliver quality code.
• Should be able to understand SonarQube code quality matrices and reduce the code complexity.
• Experienced with impact analysis and resolving in-process problems independently, or with minor guidance from the technical lead.
• Deep understanding and having experience of handling large/sophisticated system.
• Proficiency in writing optimized server and client-side code.
• Experience in using Git based version control and Git workflow and CI CD pipeline.
• Experienced with Agile development process

• BE / B. Tech / MCA / ME / M. Tech in Computer science with 5+ years OF FULL-Stack development experience
• Experience with Python, Linux OS & Shell Programming, Dockers and Kubernetes
• Good Linux Debugging skills.
• Free-Radius, OpenLDAP, FreeIPA, Key Cloak, Java/Ruby ETC
• Strong English communication skills - both writing and speaking
