Urgently Hiring Pharmacist For Oman (Male) @ Resolve

Job Description

Key Roles and Responsibilities- Pharmacist

1. Dispensing and Prescription Management

Accurately dispense prescribed medications to patients.

Verify prescriptions for accuracy, legality, and potential drug interactions.

Provide appropriate labeling and dosage instructions.

2. Patient Counseling and Education

Advise patients on proper medication use, dosage, side effects, and storage.

Educate patients on over-the-counter medications and health supplements.

Promote awareness on medication adherence and lifestyle changes for better outcomes.

3. Clinical and Therapeutic Support

Review and interpret physician prescriptions to ensure therapeutic appropriateness.

Monitor patient medication therapies for adverse effects or interactions.

Collaborate with doctors and nurses to optimize patient treatment plans.

4. Inventory and Supply Management

Maintain adequate stock of medicines and related supplies.

Check for expired or damaged medications and ensure proper disposal.

Order, receive, and store pharmaceutical inventory following regulatory standards.

5. Regulatory Compliance and Documentation

Adhere to pharmacy laws, ethical standards, and institutional policies.

Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, sales, and controlled substances.

Ensure compliance with drug safety, storage, and quality assurance protocols.

6. Public Health and Preventive Care

Participate in vaccination programs and health awareness campaigns.

Support disease prevention initiatives such as diabetes, hypertension, or smoking cessation programs.

7. Research and Continuous Education

Stay updated on new drugs, formulations, and treatment guidelines.

Participate in continuing professional development and training programs.

Qualification: Bpharm

Salary:500-600 OMR

Experience:3+years
