Job Description
- Role Overview: As a Principal Consultant, Scrum Master at Genpact, you will be responsible for managing the coding, testing, and delivering high-quality deliverables. Your willingness to learn about new technologies will be crucial in this role. Key Responsibilities: - Work on existing and new initiatives within the applications development teams - Serve the Product Owner in various ways, including: - Ensuring that goals, scope, and product domain are understood by everyone on the Scrum Team - Finding techniques for effective Product Backlog management - Helping the Scrum Team understand the need for clear and concise Product Backlog items - Understanding product planning in an empirical environment - Ensuring the Product Owner knows how to arrange the Product Backlog to maximize value - Understanding and practicing agility; and facilitating Scrum events as requested or needed - Coach the Development Team in self-organization and cross-functionality - Help the Development Team to create high-value products - Remove impediments to the Development Team's progress - Facilitate Scrum events as requested or needed - Help employees and stakeholders understand and enact Scrum and empirical product development - Cause change that increases the productivity of the Scrum Team - Work with other Scrum Masters to increase the effectiveness of the application of Scrum in the organization Qualifications Required: Minimum Qualifications: - BE/B Tech/MCA - Excellent written and verbal communication skills Preferred Qualifications/ Skills: - Certified Scrum Master - Experience of running Agile Squads - Excellent communication skills (both oral and written) and ability to liaise with colleagues/clients of all levels - Self-motivated with the ability to work consistently and efficiently to achieve goals either as an individual or as part of a team - Experience of Microsoft Office and project management tools such as Microsoft Teams, Excel, and Visio - Experience of investigating, summarizing, and presenting results in a meaningful format to clients and Senior Management Additional Details: - Telecom domain knowledge, understanding of media and entertainment domain/space is an advantage.,
