Job Description
Role & responsibilities
Within an Agile framework our team provides testing as a service to the various squads within a
banking and finance domain Agile Release Train. In providing the testing service we also facilitate the
transition of new features and applications into the production environment seamlessly. We are
looking for a new team member to joins us to develop further our capabilities.
Review and analyse stories with a view to refinement from testing and testability angle
Define, maintain and manage test data on all test environments
Collaborate with the squads to develop effective test strategies and test plans based on the test strategy of
the ART
Execute test cases and document test results and defects in an audit compliance manner
Support the squads to troubleshoot and resolve defects
Report defects and issues to the squads on a timely manner as part of a continuous feedback process
Working with the squad to ensure quality throughout the change process
Set up, run, investigate and capture end to end tests
Jira issues management (create, update, follow, close etc.) for problems encountered during testing
Support the transition of change into production by conducting post release testing and support, including
training to fellow support team members
Visualize and provide insights in quality of the product.
Agree together with product owner what tests to execute as part of regression tests and later to be
automated.
Preferred candidate profile
Must have
Experience with Tosca and X-Ray
Experience with automation building on trading data
Proven work experience as a Quality Assurance Tester; preferably Markets within the financial industry
Experience in Agile framework and QA methodology
Familiar with testing in-house developed applications and vendor base applications
Knowledge of end to end trading value chain workflows spanning multiple interconnected systems
Ability to read and investigate JSON and XML files
Well versed in the use of Jira and testing software/tools
Positive thinking personality with a can-do attitude
High motivation to acquire new technical and functional skills
Self-motivator, able and willing to work with minimal direction
Excellent communication skills in English
