Job Description -
We are seeking a hands-on and collaborative AEM Lead to guide technical delivery across a multi-region Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) transformation. This role spans discovery and implementation, with responsibility for driving component rationalization, code unification, and modular, reusable development patterns in support of over 150 global sites.
Description for Internal Candidates
Key Responsibilities:
Discovery Phase
- Collaborate with architects and business analysts to assess existing AEM components, templates, and workflows
- Assist in identifying reusable features across master and regional sites
- Contribute to building the target component library inventory and documentation
- Participate in technical workshops and evaluate technical debt and refactoring opportunities
- Provide sizing input and support early estimation for delivery planning
Implementation Phase
- Lead day-to-day execution of AEM development and component refactoring efforts
- Guide and review code from offshore and nearshore development teams
- Ensure consistency, quality, and performance across newly unified and reusable AEM components
- Implement site-specific customizations in line with the reference architecture
- Collaborate with DevOps on pipeline integration, version control, and automated deployments
- Support UAT, defect triage, and release validation
- Mentor junior developers and ensure adherence to AEM best practices and coding standards
Required Skills & Experience
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in AEM development, with 2+ years as a lead
- Expertise in AEM Sites, component-based development, and headless/hybrid delivery
- Proficiency in Java, Sling, OSGi, HTL, JCR, Dispatcher configs
- Familiar with AEM Cloud Service, including its CI/CD, environments, and content deployment patterns
- Experience working in multi-site/multi-language AEM environments
- Strong collaboration skills across DevOps, QA, business analysts, and UX teams
- Familiarity with design systems, localization frameworks, or Adobe Target/Analytics
-Familiar in working in Adobe lifecycle (front end, reporting, analytics, lead management; etc.).
-Familiar in campaign management.
-Willing to support applications on rotational shift basis.
-Experience in API integration
-Familiarity in Angular/React
