 Analyst Relationship Manager

Job Description

Position Overview:

The Analyst Relationship Manager (ARM) is responsible for developing and managing strategic relationships with key industry analyst and research firms. The role focuses on positioning the company as a thought leader, increasing visibility in analyst evaluations, and ensuring strong representation in industry reports, market guides, and vendor assessments (preferably in IT services, SaaS, or technology sectors).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Relationship Management:
    Build and maintain strong, ongoing relationships with analysts and research teams across major firms relevant to the companys business and service lines.
  • Analyst Engagement:
    Coordinate regular briefings, inquiries, and update sessions to showcase company strategy, capabilities, customer success stories, and innovations.
  • Report Inclusion & Visibility:
    Drive efforts to secure inclusion in key analyst reports, Magic Quadrants, Market Guides, PEAK Matrices, and other vendor assessments.
  • Collaboration with Internal Teams:
    Work closely with business units, sales, and marketing to gather and synthesize relevant data, case studies, and proof points to support analyst engagements.
  • Content Development:
    Prepare briefing materials, positioning documents, and responses for RFI/RFPs or analyst questionnaires.
  • Analyst Insights:
    Track and analyze analyst research to extract insights on market trends, competitor movements, and positioning opportunities; share findings with leadership.
  • Thought Leadership:
    Identify co-marketing or collaboration opportunities with analyst firms such as webinars, joint research, or whitepapers.
  • Performance Tracking:
    Maintain a calendar of analyst engagements and measure progress through inclusion rates, analyst mentions, and sentiment tracking.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
    Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Experience:
    • 5+ years of experience in Analyst Relations, Corporate Communications, or B2B Marketing (preferably in IT services, SaaS, or technology sectors).
    • Proven experience engaging with top-tier analyst firms (Gartner, Forrester, IDC, Everest, ISG, etc.).
  • Skills:
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
    • Strong understanding of market research methodologies and analyst evaluation processes.
    • Cross-functional collaboration skills.
