Production Support Analyst @ UST

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Production Support Specialist with hands-on experience in UCMDB, OpenText, or HP OpenView products.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining enterprise IT operations tools and ensuring high availability and performance of production systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide L2/L3 support for enterprise monitoring and configuration management tools such as UCMDB, OpenText, or HP OpenView.

Monitor system performance, identify issues, and implement solutions to ensure system stability and uptime.

Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and operations teams to resolve incidents and service requests.

Perform root cause analysis for recurring issues and implement preventive measures.

Maintain documentation for configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.

Participate in on-call rotation and provide after-hours support as needed.

Ensure compliance with ITIL processes and organizational SLAs. Required Skills & Experience:

Strong hands-on experience with at least one of the following:

1. Micro Focus UCMDB (Universal Configuration Management Database) 2. OpenText IT Operations tools

3.HP OpenView (now Micro Focus Operations Bridge)

Solid understanding of IT infrastructure components (servers, networks, databases, applications).

Experience with incident, problem, and change management processes.

Familiarity with scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Shell, Python) for automation and monitoring tasks.

Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Strong communication and collaboration abilities. Preferred Qualifications:

ITIL Foundation certification.

Experience in enterprise environments with 24x7 support requirements.

Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and hybrid monitoring setups.
