Role & Responsibilities
Role Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Power BI Manager to lead the development and management of business intelligence solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Power BI, DAX, and data query languages, with a strong understanding of cloud and on-premise data sources. This role involves designing interactive dashboards, automating reporting processes, and ensuring data governance and performance optimization.
Technical Requirements:
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of Power BI dashboards and reports
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into actionable insights
- Work with Teradata, GCP, and other cloud/on-premise data sources for seamless integration
- Develop and optimize DAX-based data models for performance and scalability
- Automate reporting workflows and dashboard refreshes using Power BI and related tools
- Manage Power BI service, including publishing, sharing, and access control
- Implement Power Query and Power BI Data Flows for data shaping and transformation
- Ensure secure connectivity to on-premise data sources via gateways
- Maintain and enhance complex reports, including those with macros and advanced logic
- Collaborate with data engineering and governance teams to ensure data quality and compliance
Mandatory Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelors degree in information technology or related field
- 7+ years of hands-on experience with Power BI Desktop and Service and overall experience of 11-15 years
- Strong proficiency in DAX and query languages (e.g., SQL, Dataverse)
- Experience in building dashboards using Teradata, GCP, and hybrid data sources
- Proven ability to develop complex reports with macros and automation
- Expertise in Power Query, Data Flows, and data shaping techniques
- Experience with Power BI Gateway and managing on-premise data connectivity
- Strong understanding of report publishing,sharing, and workspace management
Good to Have:
- Experience with Power Automate for workflow automation
- Familiarity with Azure, Microsoft Fabric, or other cloud data platforms
- Having banking GCC experience
CRITERIA
- Power BI professional having financial / banking GCC experience
- Relevant Experience with Power BI Desktop and Service: 5+ years
