Job Description
We are looking for an experienced SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) Consultant with strong coding experience and a solid understanding of SAP's cloud technologies. The ideal candidate should have 10-12 years of hands-on coding experience, including at least 2 years of focused experience with SAP BTP. Candidate must have experience with one full life cycle implementation on S/4HANA Public Cloud.
Key Responsibilities:
1. SAP BTP Development and Implementation:
- Lead and participate in the design, development, and deployment of applications on SAP BTP.
- Utilize SAP BTP services such as SAP Cloud Application Programming (CAP) Model, SAP Business Application Studio, and SAP Integration Suite to develop scalable solutions.
- Engage in one full life cycle implementation project, preferably on S/4HANA Public Cloud.
2. Coding and Custom Development:
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using Java, Node.js, or other relevant languages.
- Develop custom applications and extensions on SAP BTP, integrating them with existing SAP systems.
- Utilize SAP BTPs multicloud and platform-as-a-service capabilities for developing advanced solutions.
3. Cloud Integration and Extension:
- Design and implement integrations between SAP BTP and other SAP or non-SAP systems.
- Use SAP Cloud Integration, SAP API Management, and SAP Extension Suite to extend and integrate enterprise applications.
- Develop and manage APIs, microservices, and cloud-native applications on SAP BTP.
4. Project Management:
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure successful delivery of SAP BTP projects, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
- Manage project risks and issues, ensuring timely resolution and mitigation.
5. Innovation and Solution Design:
- Lead workshops and design sessions with business stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions using SAP BTP.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP BTP technologies, and drive innovation by proposing new tools and approaches to enhance business processes.
6. Documentation and Reporting:
- Create comprehensive technical documentation, including design documents, coding standards, and user manuals.
- Provide regular status updates and reports to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment on project progress.
7. Support and Maintenance:
- Provide ongoing support for SAP BTP applications, resolving technical issues and ensuring optimal performance.
- Monitor and optimize the performance of applications on SAP BTP, ensuring scalability and reliability.
Requirement:
- 10-12 years of coding experience with a strong background in enterprise application development.
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with SAP BTP, including development and integration.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, Node.js, or Python.
- Experience with SAP BTP services like SAP Cloud Application Programming (CAP) Model, SAP Integration Suite, and SAP Extension Suite.
- Experience with at least one full life cycle implementation, preferably on S/4HANA Public Cloud.
- Strong understanding of cloud computing principles, microservices architecture, and API management.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to design and implement complex solutions.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- SAP BTP certification.
- Experience with DevOps tools and practices (e.g., CI/CD pipelines, containerization).
- Knowledge of SAP Fiori, SAP UI5, and SAP Mobile Services.
- Experience with agile methodologies and project management tools.
