SDN Sustenance Lead/ Software Engineer @ Fujitsu Consulting

This position is responsible for Design, Development and Sustenance of Fujitsu Virtuora Network Controller - SDN controller product for Optical transport network for L0/L1/L2 layers providing end-to-end service provisioning, orchestration and network programmability. Responsibilities include analysing requirements, architecture, design, development and maintenance of multiple software components of Virtuora NC to meet customer requirements using cutting edge technologies.
Candidates for this job need to be a great problem solver, quick in debugging the problem at hand and needs to articulate the issues to engineering team with supporting data in clear and precise way while managing the high customer expectations in a poise manner.
Skill-sets:
12-18 years experience in product development and sustenance
Expertise in problem isolation, debugging and field issue resolution
Expert knowledge in overall product features and functions
Expertise in Core Java, Threads, Collections and Data structures
Expertise in Application debugging, multi-threading and Java Memory management and tools (JStack, JMap, JHat etc.)
Expertise in Opendaylight (ODL) application development
Expertise in Netconf/Yang modelling
Expertise in OSGI Karaf bundle application development
Programming experience Kafka messaging and Cassandra database
Knowledge of Optical network devices - Transponder/Muxponder/Switchponder
Expertise in OTN and WDM Service Management
Expertise in network modelling
ITU-T G.709 and OpenROADM MSA Standards
Link OAM - IEEE 802.3ah, LLDP - IEEE 802.1AB protocols and OSPF - RFC 2328
Good in Janus Graph, Graph Database and graph Algorithms
Good knowledge in REST API development
Good knowledge with databases Oracle/MySQL
Experience in at least 2-3 full cycle development of Network Management Systems products
Good knowledge in SDN
Git, Gerrit, Jenkins, JIRA, Familiar with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
Have demonstrated good technical leadership ability, lead end-to-end feature development
Have worked in a product company
Good communication skills for regular interactions with internal and external teams
Exposure to sound software engineering practices/Agile
