Job Description
Were seeking a Systems Development Engineer to revolutionize B2B commerce infrastructure at Amazon Business 3P a rapidly growing global organization. Youll build mission-critical, high-volume systems that power how businesses sell on Amazon, directly impacting millions of B2B transactions and seller experiences worldwide. Join our entrepreneurial team where youll architect scalable distributed systems using technologies. This role offers the opportunity to make significant impact on customer experience while working with GenAI and Agentic AI technologies to optimize B2B seller operations. Design and deliver scalable, resilient systems using appropriate technologies while learning to analyze for risk, cost, and
efficiency
Take ownership of operational risks in team products, troubleshoot issues, and ensure thorough resolution of defects
Mentor interns and participate in hiring while collaborating with partner teams to improve system interactions
Solve straightforward problems using technology solutions composed of smaller components and standalone applications
Apply operational excellence principles to inherited and new systems, ensuring solutions meet Amazon Code Bar standards
Participate in design discussions and learn to make technical trade-offs within business goals and customer needs context
Automate repetitive tasks and improve documentation to enhance team productivity and system maintainability
Write clear, inclusive documentation and seek feedback on designs, code, and procedures following engineering best
practices
Contribute to quality improvements and customer experience while maintaining an inclusive workplace environment
Deliver well-tested, logical solutions on time using current technologies and inclusive development practices About the team

Experience tools for automation (building, testing, releasing or monitoring)
Experience with Linux/Unix Experience with CI/CD pipelines build processes
Experience with automating and simplifying team development, test, and operations processes
Experience with iterative, agile development methodologies (including scrum)
