Test Engineer @ Novel Office

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Test Engineer with 01 year of experience to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and execute automated test scripts and frameworks using Python and JavaScript, ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications. The role involves collaborating with development and QA teams, identifying and tracking defects, and continuously improving test automation processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks.
• Execute test cases, analyze results, and report defects.
• Collaborate with developers and QA team members to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Perform API testing using tools like Postman or similar.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of test automation practices and processes.
• Ensure adherence to software testing principles, methodologies, and the software development life cycle (SDLC).

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Additional qualification/course in Software Quality Assurance and Automation Testing.
• Familiarity with test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Pytest, or Robot Framework.
• Hands-on experience with Python and JavaScript for automation.
• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Good understanding of testing principles, QA methodologies, and SDLC processes.
• 01 year of relevant experience in test automation or software testing.
