Technical Lead Automation & Tool Surepay - Unix/Shell Scripting (3-7 yrs)JOB PURPOSE/ROLE:
The Release Upgrade Automation Tools team in collaboration with Product Development is responsible for developing and certifying that the end Release upgrade Tools operates in its intended behavior. This involves the planning, development, integration, test and documentation of the complete system.
We are seeking Automation Developers/Validation Engineers with strong experience in automation (ground up) and/or development. The position requires the Automation Engineer to create new automated scripting, high level testing scenarios, test data and run and record results. This person will make a significant impact on reducing product development costs and increasing quality. In this highly visible role, the ideal candidate will be a self-starter and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Developing automation framework for product release upgrades.
- Execute, Debug and Fix automation tool bugs.
- Take responsibility of gaining knowledge on feature requirement, and plug them to the automation framework.
- To identify HW/SW/tools required for test executions and setting lab environment
- Follow up of defects raised.
- To participate in a regular internal progress follow-up of the project with test leads and other managers
- Innovate technical ideas
- Active involvement to support customer release upgrade activities.

Desired Skills and Experience :
3+ years of relevant automation and support experience.
1) Perl/Shell/ Java..that's the primary requirement for AUTOMATION ...then
2) experience in PCRF OR SUREPAY OR MCAS Environment...
3.) Strong UNIX
Automation:
Mandatory: Working Experience in product release upgrades and their automation process.
Mandatory: Strong knowledge of Unix Operating System
Mandatory: Knowledge of Shell Scripting
Knowledge of / Perl / Tcl&Tk / Python / is an added advantage.
Education:
UG: Any Graduate - Any Specialization, B.Tech/B.E. - Any Specialization
PG: Any Postgraduate - Any Specialization
