Job Description
Job Title: Business Analyst
Responsibilities:
- Engage with stakeholders to gather, document, and prioritize business requirements.
- Analyze data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Evaluate existing business processes and systems to identify areas for enhancement.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications for solutions.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure technical feasibility of proposed solutions.
- Assist in planning, execution, and monitoring of projects.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Serve as a liaison between business users and MR teams to ensure clear communication.
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project progress and issues.
- Assist in developing and executing test plans to validate solutions against business requirements.
- Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Education: MBA in Finance or Bachelors degree in a relevant field.
- Certifications (Preferred): CA, CFA, FRM.
- Experience: Minimum 46 years of relevant experience in a professional environment.
Foundational Skills:
- Experience in the Financial Services industry or with financial clients.
- Strong financial domain expertise.
- Data analysis and interpretation skills.
- Ability to interact effectively with business users.
- Strong liaison skills between business and technology teams.
- Effective team player with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to manage projects and deliver critical functions/initiatives.
Desired Skills:
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL) and project management software.
- Knowledge of business process modeling techniques and tools.
- Familiarity with SDLC and Agile methodologies.
