About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Automation Test Engineer with strong expertise in TypeScript, JavaScript, and testing frameworks like Selenium and Playwright. The candidate should have hands-on experience testing Angular-based web applications, implementing robust automation frameworks, and ensuring high-quality software delivery across CI/CD pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation test frameworks using Selenium and Playwright with TypeScript/JavaScript.
  
• Create and execute automated test scripts for Angular web applications.
  
• Collaborate with developers and QA leads to identify automation opportunities and optimize test coverage.
  
• Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps).
  
• Conduct functional, regression, smoke, and end-to-end testing.
  
• Implement robust reporting mechanisms and maintain automation artifacts.
  
• Participate in code reviews, test planning, and quality assurance processes.
  
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in test scripts and frameworks.
  
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance automation efficiency and reliability.
  

Technical Skills Required

• Programming Languages: TypeScript and JavaScript
  
• Automation Tools: Selenium WebDriver, Playwright (hands-on mandatory)
  
• Frameworks: Jest, Mocha, Jasmine, or equivalent
  
• Frontend Testing: Strong experience testing Angular applications
  
• Build & CI/CD Tools: Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI
  
• Version Control: Git
  
• Reporting Tools: Allure, Extent Reports, or similar
  
• Bonus Skills:
  
• Knowledge of API testing using Postman or Rest Assured
  
• Exposure to Cypress or WebdriverIO
  
• Understanding of BDD using Cucumber or Gherkin
  
• Familiarity with cloud-based testing tools (BrowserStack, Sauce Labs)
