Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Automation Test Engineer with strong proficiency in Java, Selenium, Serenity, Python, and other scripting languages.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and executing test cases for both functional and UI testing across web and client-server applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop robust automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver, Serenity, and Rest Assured
- Automate functional and UI test cases for web and client-server applications
- Perform testing for Kafka-based message-driven applications
- Build and maintain object repositories, reusable functions, and recovery scenarios for UI automation
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Spinnaker, or similar
- Implement BDD/TDD frameworks using Cucumber, JBehave, and Gherkin
- Conduct API testing with JSON/XML formats and support security testing requirements
- Work with cloud platforms, preferably Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Utilize tools such as JIRA, ALM, Xray, and Git for test management and version control
- Independently own and deliver major features under tight deadlines
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in Java, Python, and scripting languages
- Strong experience with Selenium, Serenity, Robot Framework, Watir, or UFT
- Hands-on experience with Rest Assured for API automation
- Exposure to Kafka and message-driven architecture testing
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Spinnaker
- Familiarity with BDD/TDD methodologies and tools
- Knowledge of AWS cloud services
- Strong understanding of API testing, JSON/XML, and security testing
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- ISTQB or equivalent certification is a plus
