Job Description

    As an Assistant Manager - Customer Service for Order to Cash at Genpact, you will leverage your extensive knowledge and understanding of the entire order to cash process, including various invoice types (Manual, Consolidated, and Automated). Your role will involve working within strict deadlines in a fast-paced business environment. You should excel as a team player and have experience leading a team of approximately 40 to 50 individuals. **Key Responsibilities:** - Process all billing cycles for circulation activities on a strict monthly timeline. - Utilize billing systems to conduct research on billing disputes, input new pricing and products. - Act as the primary contact for local circulation departments regarding billing issues. - Assist the AR team with cash application in case of exceptions. - Monitor bill adjustments, ensuring accurate GL coding and mapping within front-end systems. - Establish an environment fostering process improvement, high-performance teams, employee growth, exceptional customer service, and market-driven competitiveness in Billing. - Define productivity and quality performance metrics, monitor performance against set goals, and coach employees for execution improvements. - Oversee all Billing policies, controls, processes, and procedures. - Ensure compliance with all billing-related policies, controls, processes, and procedures. - Communicate technical issues to the appropriate IT staff for system functionality problem resolution. - Ensure all documentation is SOX compliant, up-to-date, accurate, and comprehensible. - Monitor the Month-End process for each location, generate and book Circulation Revenue to JDE. - Promote communication and teamwork within and across organizational boundaries, especially with other SSC departments. - Recruit, train, and motivate the team. **Qualifications:** **Minimum Qualifications / Skills:** - Bachelor's or Graduate degree. - Relevant experience in Order to Cash. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent customer service and communication skills. - Self-reliant, resourceful, and proactive attitude towards tasks. - Strong analytical skills and ability to work with complex data. - Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities. **Preferred Qualifications/ Skills:** - Exposure to SAP / Oracle / Salesforce / TPM. - Experience in Trade or Non-Trade deductions for Trade Management, OR Order Entry or Fulfilment experience for Order Management, OR Contract review & Entry experience for Contract Management. - Knowledge of all Order-to-cash processes in the CPG or retail industry. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office - Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. - Strong communication skills. - Ability to multitask and prioritize items under specific time constraints. - Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment. - Client-focused mindset with a proven ability to respond promptly to internal and external client requests.
