Job Role: EDI Developer (IBM Sterling)

Location: Bangalore, Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad, Pune

Work Mode: Hybrid

Shift: 2-11 pm (Afternoon)

Experience: 4 to 9 years - (Specialist/Lead)

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced IBM Sterling EDI Developer with 5+ years of strong hands-on experience in designing, developing, and supporting IBM Sterling B2B Integration solutions.

Role & responsibilities

• Design, development, and deployment of EDI solutions using IBM Sterling B2B Integrator.
• Analyse document flows to identify opportunities for system and performance enhancements.
• Develop and configure EDI maps (e.g., X12, EDIFACT, IDOC) and implement custom transformation logic and business rules
• Manage and configure trading partner profiles and communication protocols (such as AS2, FTP, SFTP, VAN, REST, and JMS.)
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Monitor, support, and troubleshoot EDI transactions to ensure data integrity and SLA adherence
• Collaborate with internal specialists and external trading partners to troubleshoot complex mapping
• Automate EDI workflows and improve customer onboarding by streamlining common tasks.

Preferred candidate profile

• 4+ years of hands-on experience on B2B/EDI with IBM Sterling B2B Integrator
• Experience in developing, maintaining, supporting, and monitoring of IBM Sterling
• Experience with Agile Development practices, backlog refinements, sprint planning, retrospectives model.
• Demonstrate flexibility to work during EST time zone and maintain proactive customer communication
• Good interpersonal and communication skills

Good to have skillset (added Advantage):

• AS2 & SFTP Security Expertise
• Database experience (Oracle/Postgres/DB2), SQL performance checks, and scripting
• Deep EDI X12 knowledge: 850, 855, 856, 810, 860, 867, 940/945/943/944; healthcare formats (835/837)
