Location: Multiple locations across India (Bangalore, Pune, Hyderabad, Chennai, Chandigarh, Trivandrum, Indore, Nagpur, Mangalore, Noida, Bhubaneswar, Vizag, Coimbatore, Jaipur, Mysore, Kolkata, Hubli)

Role Overview:
As an SAP Basis Consultant at Infosys, you will be part of our consulting team, supporting clients in their digital transformation journey. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality, value-adding solutions by leveraging your technical expertise and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the consulting team across project phases including problem definition, effort estimation, diagnosis, solution generation, design, and deployment.
- Conduct research and build Proof of Concepts (POCs) to evaluate solution alternatives.
- Translate business needs into requirement specifications and define to-be processes and functional designs.
- Configure solution requirements, diagnose issues, and identify solution alternatives.
- Perform core SAP Basis functions such as system refreshes, support packs, kernel upgrades, transport management, and DR drills.
- Monitor and maintain SAP system environments (Sandbox, Development, QA, Production, DR).
- Install, configure, and support multiple SAP landscapes and third-party tools.
- Support performance tuning and system configuration using SAP Best Practices.
- Work on system refreshes and restores for dual (ABAP+JAVA) and single stack systems.
- Install and configure SAP Solution Manager.
- Participate in upgrades, OS/DB migrations, and cloud implementations.
- Collaborate with global delivery teams, functional teams, and stakeholders.
- Contribute to unit-level and organizational initiatives.
Technical Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in SAP Basis.
- Experience with SAP Business Suite and SAP HANA.
- Exposure to Solution Manager installation and configuration.
- Familiarity with upgrades, OS/DB migrations, and cloud platforms is a plus.
- Willingness to work in a 24x7 support environment.

- Ability to assess current processes and suggest improvements.
- Awareness of latest technologies and industry trends.
- Effective collaboration and communication skills.
- Domain knowledge in one or two industries.
- SAP Certification is an added advantage.
