  • Strategic thinkingProvides governance & oversight of projects/small programs to ensure project goals or objectives are accomplished within approved time frame, scope and budget
  • Program Management skills including ability to juggle multiple projects, meet deadlines, deliver results
  • Responsible for the planning and on boarding of projects and small programs
  • Maintains and communicates overall portfolio financials
  • Responsible for maximizing resource allocation based on resource availability and prioritized projects
  • Provides guidance to Project Managers
  • Champions strong IT governance in the project management framework and mentors project managers in its development and continuous improvement
  • Works closely with the project and program management Centers of Excellence
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with Internal/external partners and sponsors ensuring key stakeholders are identified and engaged early in the project life cycle
  • Oversees the management of project closure initiatives
  • Management through metricsUse metrics and data visualization effectively to report portfolio performance and support decision-making at the team or organizational level
  • Develop and implement project management methodologies and best practices to build on the teams skills and abilities
  • Contribute to the establishment of common practices, tools, and templates for portfolio and project management, and ensure adherence to company and legal standards
  • Manage day-to-day portfolio activities and establish working plan for each project phase
  • Facilitate project reviews and checkpoint meetings
  • Analyze key performance indicators to produce reports on portfolio and projects
  • Escalate issues that threaten portfolio and project success
  • Highly flexible, ability to execute well in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving organization
  • Ability to translate business strategy into tactical plans and willingness to own execution to completion
  • Strong self-starter with entrepreneurial drive and demonstrated ability to achieve stretch goals in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Comfort with deep technical details as well as high-level business goals and customer needs
  • Knowledge and experience in agile software development process
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, ability to establish strong relationships with all levels of an organization
  • Experience of dealing with teams in different geographies with interdependencies.
