Data Engineer @ Orca pod Consulting

Job Description

We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our analytics team and build scalable, cloud-based data solutions. You will design streaming data frameworks, develop applications using Python, PySpark, and ETL tools, and work with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement production-ready pipelines, manage data quality, and support analytics initiatives that drive business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain streaming and batch data pipelines.
  
• Develop applications using PySpark, Airflow, Kubernetes, Snowflake, and ETL tools.
  
• Implement production support processes for data lifecycle, storage, and reporting.
  
• Collaborate with business and analytics teams to deliver data-driven solutions.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 2+ years of Data Engineering experience.
  
• Cloud experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and serverless solutions.
  
• Proficiency in Python and processing structured & semi-structured data.
  
• Experience with SQL, ETL tools, streaming/event processing (Kafka, Spark Streaming).
  
• Familiarity with Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud SDKs.
