Purpose of the role
This is an exciting time to work in General Mills' PIC and MDM Organization! We are accelerating Digital Transformation of our Product Information Capabilities (PIC) capabilities to provide a competitive advantage to our business. To this end, we are looking for a D&T Associate Analyst, with passion for Product Information Management (PIM) and (Master Data Management) MDM to join our Product Information Capabilities team.
The PIM / MDM Engineering team requires agile team members who can support ecommerce by creating the systems of records and developing rightful integrations which would help in sourcing, validating, publishing, and quality checking the data that our customers use to create the digital shelf and our products detail pages. This would need a team which is well versed with managing Product Master Data. The vision is to expand the platform further to benefit other business areas
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES.
- Leadership responsibilities in PIM and MDM space; Collaborate with Analysts, Product Owner & D&T Solution Managers to shape the end-to-end product strategy and Engineering / Architectural alignment along the Product Information Management and MDM space
- Manage a team of Software Engineers working in the PIM and MDM space, ensuring effective Talent Planning and Management, work guidance ensuring quality of highest standards
- Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, and other developers to ensure solutions align with business needs and technical standards.
- Design, develop, and maintain STIBO STEP solutions to support product information management processes and MDM; Create and maintain technical documentation for STIBO STEP solutions and other solutions made
- Write and maintain code for business rules to ensure data quality and consistency; Ensure industry best practices in maintaining and developing codes, enabling all the business rules mentioned
- Establish industry best practices towards system integration for exchanging data in Product information space, utilizing middleware like MuleSoft; Configure outbound and inbound integrations to exchange data with other systems
- Configure gateway endpoints for seamless data flow
- Design and build web UI screens for data entry, validation, and reporting
- Develop solutions based on documented requirements and specifications.
- Participating in agile project development, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
- Stay up to date with the latest STIBO STEP features and best practices.
- Working in an International, multi-cultural environment
- Good problem-solving skills, bias for action, decisive, strong time management skills
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Education Full time graduation from an accredited university (Mandatory- Note: This is the minimum education criteria which cannot be altered); Bachelors in Computer (BE or BSc) or STEM fields is preferred
- Experience of implementing and concepts related to PIM, MDM having integration with platforms like ERP (preferably SAP), Artwork tools, Data syndication tools like Syndigo, Informatica etc.
- Experience on Digital Product Publishing, such as data governance, data quality, data integration and data exporting
- Technical expertise into Stibo platform
- Exposure to Digital Shelf and Publication processes; Experience with Data Syndication partners such as 1WorldSync, Syndigo and Salsify
- Strong experience in working in an Agile environment
- Experience with PIM workflows, data quality error analysis and workbench error resolution
- Experience with Data Syndication processes
- Good to have experience of working in the CPG sector or similar industry
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Product Information Management / Master Data Management
- STIBO STEP certification
- Business Analysis skills
- SQL, Cloud GCP
- Agile / SCRUM Delivery
- Familiarity with Service Bus Integration
- Preferably experience in Consumer Goods industry
