About the Role
We are currently hiring Accounts Receivable (AR) Analysts to join our growing US Healthcare RCM team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the complete AR process, including analyzing claims, identifying issues, and ensuring timely follow-up with insurance companies to secure reimbursements.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Review and analyze insurance claims that have been denied, underpaid, or delayed.
- Perform insurance follow-ups with US insurance carriers via phone calls and web portals.
- Understand and work within the framework of US Healthcare RCM process: Demographics, Charge Entry, Claims Submission, AR Follow-up, Denial Management, and Payment Posting.
- Handle claim re-submissions, appeals, and resolve rejections as needed.
- Document actions taken on accounts accurately and in a timely manner.
- Meet defined productivity and quality standards on a daily/monthly basis.
- Work with team leads and managers to escalate problematic accounts or payer issues.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and internal company policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and update status reports regularly.
13 years of experience in AR Follow-up or US Healthcare RCM (voice process preferred).
- Familiarity with health insurance plans (Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Comfortable working in night shifts or US business hours.
- Hands-on experience with billing software (e.g., Epic, Athena, eClinicalWorks).
- Knowledge of ICD-10, CPT codes, and HIPAA guidelines.
