IP Deployment Engineer || Bangalore @ Infogain

Were looking for a proactive and motivated IP Deployment Engineer to join our team helping to deploy and support one of the worlds largest and most complex network infrastructures.

Skills : IP Deployment +Network Design+ Cisco / Juniper+ IP routing/switching + Linux/OS

Experience : 4.5 to 15 years

Location: Bangalore

Notice period-immediate joiner

Work model- Hybrid-WFO/3 days a week

Shift Timings : Shift1 -6am to 3:30pm , Shift 2 -3pm to 12:30pm Midnight

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with Program Managers & Network Engineers to design and implement new PoP sites and upgrades.
• Lead deployment and migration projects including rack design, cabling, power setup, and equipment configuration.
• Define power/space requirements, coordinate with colocation vendors and facilities.
• Drive documentation improvements, process automation, and innovation.
• Design rack/cage layouts using tools like Visio or Omnigraffle.
  

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years in network hardware deployment and support (Cisco / Juniper).
• Strong expertise in IP routing/switching (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, ISIS, MPLS IPv4/IPv6).
• Proven experience leading complex deployment projects end-to-end.
• Knowledge of data center infrastructure (power, cooling, redundancy).
• Experience with Linux/OS tools and basic scripting/automation.
