Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Review existing telecom security architecture
Analyze perimeter defenses, access controls, network segmentation, encryption
Apply industry security standards: 3GPP, GSMA, ISO, NIST, SANS, OWASP, CIS, ENISA
Assess vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, and defense-in-depth strategies
Examine network topology, data flows, asset inventories, CMDBs, and redundancy
Conduct interviews with cross-functional teams: network engineers, SOC analysts, developers, compliance officers
Evaluate network zones: internal, DMZ, cloud, external integrations
Develop actionable recommendations to strengthen security posture

Qualifications & Skills:

Proven experience in telecom network security architecture
Strong understanding of network security principles, encryption standards, access control models
Familiarity with NIST, ISO 27001, and telecom-specific protocols
Hands-on experience with security assessment tools, penetration testing, and architecture modeling
Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills
